PURPOSE:To enable the title device to fit automatically a plastic lens having a gate cut part to a lens frame without generating a problem from the view point of a quality, by a method wherein the gate out part of the lens held by a suction part is detected and an adhesive agent is applied to an outer circumferential surface of the lens other than the gate cut part. CONSTITUTION:A lens frame 11 holding a lens 13 is fitted to a stage 20. Then the lens 13 is sucked and held by the tip of the suction shaft 23 and raised. Then the lens 13 is turned by a motor 32. Then a gate cut part 13a is detected by a gate cut detecting sensor 35 and a rotation is suspended. Then the tip of a nozzle 41 of a dispenser 42 is situated to a fixed position. Then the lens 13 is turned again, a quantity of rotation is measured by a rotation detecting dog 29 and rotary pulse counting sensor 31 by making a detecting point of time of the gate out part 13a the starting point. At the time when the gate cut part 13a is passed through the nozzle 41 coating of an adhesive agent is begun and the coating is suspended on this side of the gate cut part 13a. Then the nozzle 41 is kept away from the lens 13, the suction shaft 23 is lowered and the lens 13 is charged into the lens frame 11. With this construction, uncure of the adhesive agent at the gate cut part and generation of gas can be prevented. |
