PURPOSE:To make it possible to surely detect foreign matter, which is present at the position very close to the close contact point of a mold by a method wherein position command pulse train is set according to the end of the predetermined position section and a mold protection means is put into actuation when the positional deviation exceeds the predetermined value at the end of output of said position command pulse train or after the certain fixed period of time since the end thereof. CONSTITUTION:The completion position for positioning is determined as the position of a movable platen at the time when all the number of pulses delivered from a positioning controlling device 22 or the virtual completion position for positioning, which is a position lying a little toward the mold closing side from the close contact point of a mold. When the difference between the number of pulses fed back from a pulse generator 16 and the number of command pulses sent from the positioning controlling device 22 or the number of standing pulses becomes smaller than a certain value, a positional error signal PF is outputted from a servo-amplifier 21 to a controlling device 23. The above-mentioned value in number of pulses is set to corrected to 0.1-0.2mm in the position of a movable platen 2. Further, in order to prevent malfunction at the transferring to mold opening action by the actuation of a mold protective means from occurring, a timer is put into actuation after the issue of a mold clamping section signal. Or the positional error signal PF can be held OFF during is period of time, in which a certain fixed time is elapsed since said mold clamping section is arrived before the actuation of the mold protective means. |
