HYDROGEN STORAGE ALLOY TANK

摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent metal hydride from declining in its heat exchanging efficiency by installing a tank main body which houses metal hydride discharging hydrogen gas on heat exchange reactions, and a hydrogen storage alloy tank with heated medium flowing passages. CONSTITUTION:An alloy tank 1 is equipped with a tank main body 3 housing metal hydride M which discharges hydrogen gas on heat exchange reactions. To heat metal hydride M in the tank main body 3, cooling water pipe lines 4 are arranged as heated medium flow passages. Even if the tank main body 3 is exposed to any violent movement, the movement of metal hydride is restricted with fins 5 to suppress its maldistribution, so that the decline in heat exchanging efficiency of metal hydride can be prevented more effectively.
