<p>Method for the removal of ozone from air, by leading the air with a velocity of 0.5 to 15 m/s, along a porous membrane-surface, which has a porosity of 10% or more, and a pore-diameter of 0.01 to 0.5 mu m. The ozone then is converted into oxygen. It is of special importance when there is a medium behind the membrane, which stimulates the conversion into oxygen in the membrane- for example water. Water can also, by way of diffusion through the membrane, cause the moistening of the air.</p> |
