<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a mouse by detecting the moving speed of the mouse and raising the mouse sensitivity for a low mouse speed but reducing it for a high mouse speed. CONSTITUTION:A speed detecting part is provided which obtains the moving speed of a mouse 17 in accordance with the extent of movement inputted from the mouse 17 to a computer 18 and the internal time counting function of the computer. When the moving speed of the mouse 17 is high, the mouse sensitivity is raised and the mouse is moved for a long distance by a mouse cursor and is approximated to a target point in a shorter time. When the moving speed of the mouse 17 is low, the mouse sensitivity is reduced and the mouse cursor is moved for a shorter distance and reaches the target point in a short time. Thus, the operability of the mouse 17 is improved.</p> |
