PURPOSE:To perform the shape correction on a polishing machine, to increase the accuracy of the sliding face and to improve the working accuracy of the body to be worked by providing a slide face cutting mechanism on the polishing machine. CONSTITUTION:After setting a bite 10 at cutting height, a step motor 11 and lapping machine 2 are driven by an electrical part, the bite 10 in a cutting mechanism 7 is slided at A stroke on the lapping machine 2 and the lapping surface is corrected and cut. Thus a correct lapping surface can be obtd. and the surface of the body to be worked can be polished at high accuracy. |
