PURPOSE:To surely grasp a patch incorporated condition for each exchange by rewriting a backup file and writing a patch input sequence in an area referred to using a patch identification number in a patch management table provided on a magnetic disk when a patch file with the patch identification number is received. CONSTITUTION:A patch file control part 60 to receive the patch file rewrites the backup file and writes patch management data on a patch management table 80 provided in a magnetic disk device 70. When the patch file control part 60 receives the patch file with the patch ID number, the part 60 adds 1 to the number of inputted patch files and writes the value in the area referred to using the patch ID number in a patch input sequence writing area. Thus, the respective patch incorporated conditions of exchanges 20, 30, and 40 can be grasped by displaying the patch management table 80 with a maintenance terminal 10.
