Load sensor

In order to detect the load added to a motor vehicle, the object of the invention is to create a load sensor which operates in a contactless fashion and is insensitive to dirt. This object is achieved when the load sensor consists of at least one magnet and an element which is sensitive to the magnet. These are joined to one another at a fixed distance and form an interspace in which a component consisting of a magnetically conductive material is arranged such that it can be displaced as a function of the load.
