This is a method for the regeneration and preparation of extended asphalt with oils and/or acidified bitumen whose basis is the crude-oil distillation of petroleum. The bitumenis in the form of a cation process emulsion developed from an anion parent emulsion. Protein substances are added to the original anion emulsion, and the soap is extracted as an indication of the anion parent emulsion by the addition of precipitating salts such as magnesium sulphate or acids. A number of features and variants are claimed. The emulsions used have a binder constituent qualitatively identical to the bitumen used in the hot-mix technique. The addition to the bitumen and emulsifying water is modified so that a material for mixing, fully equivalent to the hot-mix material, can be prepared, and the emulsion, in its formulation and adapting capabilities, offers wider possibilities to the material to be mixed. USE/ADVANTAGE - The method increases the capabilities of the bituminous cold-mix technique.
