PURPOSE:To prevent the opening peripheral part from being displaced of an air bag, when it is inflated opening, by providing two or more protrusions in an opposed surface of a fixing member and a retaining member so as to bite in the opening peripheral part of the air bag. CONSTITUTION:An air bag 19 is held in a peripheral part 21 of its gas inflow opening part 20 by a fixing member 16 and a retaining member 22 and held in a predetermined position in the front of a seat. Two or more protrusions 29, 30... are provided in an opposed surface of the fixing member 16 and the retaining member 22 so as to bite in the peripheral part 21 in the opening part 20 of the held air bag 19. By the constitution thus obtained, the air bag 19, when it is inflated spreading, prevents the peripheral part 21 of the opening part 20 from being displaced from the fixing member 16 and the retaining member 22, and the air bag 19 is normally inflated spreading. |
