PURPOSE:To enable easy adhesion work by fitting a second dam at a part of a first dam fitted at the peripheral part of a window glass and making this fitted part the beginning and the end of the application of adhesive, thereby preventing the extrusion of excessive adhesive. CONSTITUTION:In fitting a window glass 10 at a window opening, the face of a window glass peripheral part 10a facing a lateral piece 9b is placed upward. A first elastic dam 13a is stuck along the peripheral part 10a with an adhesive double coated tape. At this time, a second dam is further stuck to a part of the dam 13a so as to make the overall height higher. The application of adhesive 12 is started at this higher part in the overall height and completed at the same part after making a round. The window glass applied with the adhesive is reversed vertically, fitted to the window opening, and the peripheral part 10a and the lateral piece 9b are adhered by a thrust. In this case, even if a part of the adhesive is going to surpass the dam, a second dam inhibits it. The adhesion work can be thus facilitated. |
