PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive operation mode switching device by providing a mode selector in a frequency conversion device by the use of a power detection signal obtained by means of a power detector and raising and lowering signals given by a raising and lowering signal generator for control. CONSTITUTION:As input signals a mode selector 22 gets a power signal from a power detector 21 and a raising signal or a lowering signal from a raising and lowering signal generator 17. From the point in time the generator mode state held for to the point in time the motor mode state holds for, output signals are kept on transmitting to connect S1 and S2 to the generator mode side. On the other hand, from the point in time the motor mode state held for to the point in time the generator mode state holds for, output signals are stopped to connect S1 and S2 to the motor mode side. |
