<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of paging disorder due to production of a curl in which the forward end of a recording sheet is pointed upward and to prevent the occurrence of a jam by a method wherein a sheet is guided to a first guide member by means of a guide member. CONSTITUTION:A roller pair 25 is formed with a drive roller 25a and a pressed and energized pinch roller 25b. A guide plate 27 is rotatably supported on a shaft 26 of the roller 25b, and a recording sheet 7 is guided to a first guide member 14 by means of the guide plate 27. Even when the forward end 7' of a sheet 7 is curled upward and a sheet discharge direction is unstable because of a release part 21 being large, the recording sheet 7 is guided by means of the guide plate 27 so that it is reliably contained in a sheet containing space 16. Additionally, through rotation of the guide plate 27, the recording sheets 7 continuously discharged by means of the roller pair 25 can be guided so that they are contained in the sheet containing space 16. This constitution enables prevention of the occurrence of paging disorder and a jam.</p> |
