<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate curling, change of properties, scorching, in case of cueing a continuous sheet, and to prevent sheet jam by rotating a fixing roller while counting feeding pulses when the leading end of the sheet crosses a head detection sensor, and stopping the rotation when the sheet is fed for substantially one page. CONSTITUTION:A main CPU 55 judges whether the cueing of a continuous sheet is necessary or not on the basis of the output of a head detection sensor 52, rotates a fixing roller 10 while counting feeding pulses PFS as required, feeds the sheet for substantially one page, and stops rotating. On the premise of a continuous sheet FP of 11 inches for one page, the feeding pulses PFS corresponding to one page are '22', it is waited until the number of the pulses PFS becomes '22' by monitoring whether an emergency stop is required or not, a feed clutch is disengaged to stop feeding of the sheet FP. Thus, one page of the sheet FP is fed and discharged, a sewing line between pages is disposed at a position directly under a photosensitive drum 4 and a heat roller 11.</p> |
