PURPOSE:To obtain a solid electrolytic capacitor which is excellent in characteristics and reliability by using a prescribed heterocyclic compound as a repeating unit and conductive high molecules containing a specific anion as a dopant as an electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:This solid electrolytic capacitor is formed by using at least one of heterocyclic compounds of pyrrole, thiophene, and their drivatives as a repeating unit and conductive high molecules containing at least one kind of anion selected from alkylnaphtalene sulfonate as a dopant as an electrolyte, with one or more of the hydrogen of the naphtalene sulfonate or naphtalene ring of the alkylnaphtalene sulfonate being substituted by an alkyl group having 1-12 carbon atoms. When the capacitor is manufactured in such way, the deterioration in electric characteristics of the capacitor can be reduced extensively, because the electrolyte hardly produces de-doping phenomenon under a high- temperature and high-humidity condition and, at the same time, the deterioration of the dielectric coating film of the anode Al is also suppressed. Thus high- characteristics and high-reliability solid electrolytic capacitor can be manufactured. |
