The starch system high molecular compsns. is composed of (A) starch, (B) polyvinyl alcohol polymer having C4-50 long chain alkyl gp. at the terminal, and (C) polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). The mixing amt. is 2- 10,000 pts. wt. of (B) + (C) against 100 pts. wt. of (A). (C) is 1- 10,000 pts. wt against 100 pts. wt. of (B). (B) is 1-3,000 pts. wt. against 100 pts. wt. of (A). The compsn. have a good compatibility and a leaving stability.
