PURPOSE:To automatically draw the hair of various forms by collecting basic elements with a prescribed number, defining the collected basic elements as a tuft, controlling the number and direction of the tufts and the number of the basic elements to constitute the tuft and drawing the plural tufts. CONSTITUTION:A hair number control unit 2 controls the local structure of the hair by controlling the number of a bent line which is generated from a hair generating unit 1. Then, a tuft generating unit 3 collects the group of the bent lines, which are controlled to a certain number by the hair number control unit 2, as the tuft. At such a time, since the passing position of a bending point in the bent line is controlled by a tuft proceeding route control unit 4, the proceeding route of the hair to constitute the tuft is controlled and the external appearance of the hair is controlled. A tuft number control unit 5 controls the number of the generated tufts and the density of the hair is changed. A generating picture memory 6 stores a generating picture model as three-dimensional shape data. Thus, according to a drawing condition such as the waving hair by the wind, for the tuft, the number of the hairs and the proceeding route are controlled and the tuft is automatically generated and drawn. |
