PURPOSE:To keep image density in an initial state even if the rising of the surface potential of a photosensitive body is corrected with the aid of the adjustment of a light quantity by shifting an image producing condition by interlocking with the movement of a lamp light quantity changeover switch. CONSTITUTION:A density pattern which is a reference is provided out of the original scanning area of the photosensitive body and the density of a developed image is detected by a photosensor so as to control toner adhesive quantity. The lamp light quantity changeover switch 1 is provided so that surface staining caused by the secular deterioration of the photosensitive body is corrected to control the image density. By interlocking with the movement of the above- mentioned switch, the value of the image producing condition at the time of generating a density pattern is shifted. For example, the combination of the terminals of a lamp regulator 2 is changed with the switch 1 so as to change the light quantity of the lamp and, at the same time, it is inputted in a DC/DC converter 3 to shift developing bias output B so as to control the image density. |
