<p>PURPOSE:To rigidly check the specification of a person himself or herself by providing ten keys for inputting a secret number, a window for displaying the input value, a memory for storing the secret number, and clearing unit for automatically erasing the memory of the input secret number. CONSTITUTION:Before the person himself or herself of the owner of an IC card 10 is specified, the secret number of the oneself is input by the owner via ten keys 3. The input value is displayed on a display window 1, and it is confirmed by the owner. When the registration key of the ten keys 3 is depressed, the value at that time is temporarily stored in a volatile memory 2b. After this operation, the card 10 is vended in a secret number identifier. The identifier compares the memory 2a of the card 10 with the content of the memory 2b, and judges, if coincident, that he is the true owner of the card 10, i.e., the registered person. The value input to the memory 2b is automatically erased after input, such as several minutes are elapsed, and reinput waiting state is then provided.</p> |
