PURPOSE:To use a general purpose register file with a high integration and to hold an index part arithmetic result by providing a writing and reading address preparing circuit and a writing and reading address holding register. CONSTITUTION:In order to write the arithmetic result of a register file 200 and an index part 400 into the file 200, a writing register preparing circuit 110 counts up the contents of a writing address register 130 at every an instruction cycle. A reading address preparing circuit 120, when the operation of the register 130 holding a writing address and a mantissa part 300 is completed, obtains the reading address to read the arithmetic result of the index part 400 from the file 200. A reading address holding register 140 holds a reading address. As this result, by preparing the writing address and reading address of the file 200, the arithmetic result of the index part 400 can be held at the file 200. |
