PURPOSE:To uniformize the quantity of radiation of light per read line of a light source lamp by lighting a halogen lamp at a frequency AC higher than a commercial frequency and making the lighting frequency in matching with the read line frequency substantially. CONSTITUTION:A high frequency AC power supply 5 (POW) outputs a high frequency AC power with a cycle time tau to light a halogen lamp 1. Each high frequency output terminal of the POW 5 and a terminal 1 of lamp are connected respectively. When the cycle time tau of the light frequency is selected smaller than one line read time T, the picture read luminous quantity per line is uniformized. |
