PURPOSE:To form a picture having uniform density by incorporating a hole- conductive charge generating pigment and a specified ketonic compd. into a binder resin of a charge generating layer. CONSTITUTION:A charge generating layer contains a hole-conductive charge generating pigment and a ketonic compd. expressed by the formula I in a binder resin. In the formula, each R1 and R2 is an H atom, alkyl group, nitro group, aryl group, alkoxy group, aryloxy group, alkoxycarbonyl group, aryloxycarbonyl group, halogen atom or cyano group; each (n) and (m) is an integer zero-2. The content of the ketonic compd. is 0.01-2, pref. 0.1-1 equivalent based on the amt. of the hole-conductive charge generating pigment. The amt. of the hole-conductive charge generating pigment to be mixed is pref. 0.1-10pts.wt. per 1pt.wt. binder resin. Thus, a copy picture having stable picture density is obtd. |
