PURPOSE:To prevent attachement of water drops to a mirror automatically by actuating a motor-operated driving mechanism when parking condition of a car is sensed, moving the mirror to its position of accommodation, and restituting the mirror to its service position in non-parking condition. CONSTITUTION:A motor-operated driving mechanism 20 includes a motor to drive a mirror and a device 22 to sense the rotating position of the mirror. A control circuit 30 for this driving mechanism 20 includes a microcomputer 34, constant voltage power supply circuit 36, input interface circuits 31, 32, 35, and a motor drive circuit 33. The constant voltage power supply circuit 36 is directly connected with a battery 61 to supply electric power to the microcomputer 34 irrespective of an ignition switch 62. When the car is in parking condition, the driving mechanism 20 is driven to move the mirror to its position of accommodation, and the mirror is thus prevented from attachement of water drops. In non-parking condition, on the contrary, the mirror is restituted to its service position. |
