PURPOSE: To reduce the cross-section of a laser beam induction housing and to enable visual observation of an excised site, by providing a side tube protruding in the transverse direction from the laser beam induction housing. CONSTITUTION: A laser beam induction housing 11 consists of a tube 20 and a side tube 21 protruding from the tube 20 in the transverse direction and equipped with an exit deflection member 18. The laser beam induction housing 11 rotates together with its laser beam deflector members 17, 18, 19 stored inside and the laser beam is to excise a cone-shape tissue from an excised site. The cross-section of the laser beam induction housing 11 can be reduced by the installed side tube 21, which obviates the necessity of a large space during operation. Consequently, the excised site can be observed with the naked eye with ease. |
