PURPOSE:To make a size of a laser beam changeable by using a brushless motor with an encoder for a driving mechanism, in a device for rotating a reflecting mirror by a position signal, moving a reflected light of a laser beam which is made incident on the reflecting mirror and executing the machining. CONSTITUTION:Brushless motors 18, 19 with encoders 24, 25 are used for a driving mechanism of reflecting mirrors 22, 23 attached onto a rotation axis of the driving mechanism. The title machine is provided with a reflecting mirror for enlarging a laser beam by a rotation before it is made incident on the reflecting mirror driven by a motor. Also, the machine is provided with a mecha nism for changing an inclination angle of this reflecting mirror, and a lens 13 for converting the enlarged laser beam to parallel rays and bringing it to columnar beam rotary motion. In such a way, a thick laser beam can be obtained, and by controlling an inclination of the reflecting mirror, a size of the laser beam can be changed. |
