PURPOSE:To provide a work pattern with a complicated ground pattern varying in depth, by a method wherein a size layer is provided on a base paper, then an adhesive layer is provided thereon, and a plurality of pattern layers having abrasion resistance higher than that of the adhesive layer and differring in abrasion strength are provided on the adhesive layer in a predetermined pattern form. CONSTITUTION:The size layer 2 and the adhesive layer 3 are sequentially provided on the base paper 1, and the pattern layers 4, 5 having abrasion resistance higher than that of the adhesive layer 3 and differring in abrasion strength are provided thereon to obtain a transfer paper 8. The transfer paper 8A in the condition wherein water is absorbed into the base paper 1 to dissolve the size layer 2 and the base paper 1 is released from the adhesive layer 3 is pasted onto a glass surface 9 by using water, followed by sandblasting. Due to the difference in abrasion strength between the pattern layers 4, 5 a transferred pattern having two-stage depth, namely, having shallow recessed parts 10C and deep recessed parts 10B can be obtained. |
