A deep milk-white glass has the composition of 51.4-71.4 wt.% SiO2, 1-5 wt.% Al2O3, 8-16 wt.% B2O3, 10-16 wt.% CaO, 5-10 wt.% Na2O and 4.6-5.6 wt.% F2. The glass of the composition has a deep milk-white color and a good refractory, strength, hardness, corrosion-resistance and work efficiency.
