The invention is a horizontal mould clamping and vertical type die cast moulding machine for metal and plastics. Stationary and movable metal moulds are secured to stations and movable plates and molten metal or plastec resin is injected into the mould cavity. The construction of the apparatus prevents leakage of material from the moulds and provides a long space for mounting the moulds. The prevention of leaking makes it possible to produce better castings or moulded products free of burrs. The method of clamping makes it possible to utilise a large space for mounting metal moulds. The construction has an improved supporting structure for the injection device which is not prone to bending.
