The circuit includes a current transformer (CT) for detecting currents flowing into defrosting heaters (HT1, HT2), a circuit (2) for detecting a short circuit of heaters utilizing CTs and redetecting the short circuit under the instruction from a CPU (1), a circuit (3) for detecting breaking of heaters and for inputting detected signal to the CPU (1), a bi-metal thermal switch (BT) for transmitting completion signal of defrosting to the CPU by detecting the defrosting temperature, and a display (4) for displaying abnormality by the abnormal signal from the CPU (1).
