The flight ticket case or wallet has a machine reactable magnetic strip (8) applied to its rear side near the upper long edge. The case or wallet consists of two rectangular long strips of paper or plastics materialwhich are joined to one e+-another along one long edge or one short edge. One of the strips has a section serving as a boasr)boarding card. The rear side of the rear-facing paper strip (5) carries the magnetic strip which can be magnetised for storage of information in machine readable form, and the case or wallet (1) is formed out of a single-piece section(2) by folding along the top long edge (3), opening downwards, with the section (6) serving as the boarding card on the back strip (5).
