Shaped bodies (mouldings) containing reinforcing fibres, in particular structural boards, comprising a hydraulic binder, such as cement, are to be provided, in which bodies the reinforcing fibres can be all natural organic fibres, such as cellulose, paper, flax, hemp, jute etc. and/or cellulose derivatives such as cellulose acetate and/or organic synthetic fibres such as polyacrylonitrile fibres and/or inorganic fibres, namely glass fibres and rock wool and/or further synthetic mineral fibres, with the shaped bodies being supposed to have, despite the use of the specified fibres, a long lifetime during which the strength values should, at the most, decrease only slightly. For this purpose, it is provided according to the invention for the finished shaped bodies or structural boards to contain a water-soluble proportion of sodium (Na2O) which is less than 10 mg/10 g of solid and/or for the finished shaped bodies or structural boards to contain a water-soluble proportion of potassium (K2O) which is less than 15 mg/10 g of solid.
