<p>An automated machine for mail collection is disclosed, comprising the functions of automated electronically controlled postage meter having a bar code printer (21), pay-phone device (10), data listing device (8) and telex sending device (37). The four incorporated functions are used independently for different purposes, while operated directly by customer and applying same automated means. The machine process is guided, both by instructions from its program memory (35) and instructions from its input means (6) which are operated by customer according to displayed instructions for different stages of the machine process. While having the predetermined automated processes guided by the machine's program memory (35) for all said functions, payment mode depends on the individual customer's choice. The machine's automated processes incorporate the possibility for refusal of services at any stage of said processes, without the possibility for any loss either to the customer or owner. Said refusal means (32) are provided in order to enable the machine's continuous use at any place where it may be installed.</p> |
