The invention relates to magnetic mine-sweeping systems. It consists in using a set of solenoids (201) towed in parallel behind the mine-sweeper, in order to generate the desired magnetic field. These solenoids have relatively small dimensions and are supplied (104) by variable currents. Each main solenoid (201) is associated with a flat coil (221) with vertical axis, and supplied by the same current, but phase-shifted by . A rotating field is thus obtained, the three components of which never cancel out together, and which allows simulation of the passing of a ship likely to make the magnetically triggered mines explode.

|
