PURPOSE:To display white display parts whiter and to improve the lightness over the entire part by constituting one block of 4 kinds of red, green, blue and white color filters and disposing plural pieces of such blocks in the form of matrix. CONSTITUTION:The plural color filters are constituted of the four filters; the red filter 161, the green filter 162 and the glue filter 163 plus the white filter 164 as one block. The plural blocks are disposed in the form of the matrix. The white filters 164 are formed of the transparent parts as the white filters 164 in order to solve the problem of a failure in the production of the beautiful white color when the transmittance of the light to the filters is low. These blocks are controlled by the brightness signal of video signals, by which the lightness is improved and the reproducibility of the white color is improved. The lightness over the entire part is thus improved. |
