PURPOSE:To prevent toner from leaking and to make a picture clear by adding specific particulates to the toner. CONSTITUTION:A developing machine equipped with a sleeve 3 for development and a member 4 for toner leak prevention which contacts the sleeve 3 and 0.05 - 5wt.% particulates of 0.5 - 15mu in particle size which are changed electrostatically to the opposite polarity from the toner are added to the toner, and a latent image is developed. Then, the particulates A use polyolefin particulates such as polyethylene particulates preferably. Further, particulates obtained by adding a coloring agent, magnetic materials, etc., in a binder such as styrene-acryolic acid alkyl copolymer are usable as the toner. |
