摘要 PURPOSE:To have performance equal to that of a conventional cylindrical cavity and to make it possible to form an ultra-small optical microwave resonance part by disposing a semi-coaxial cavity, a hollow-column rubidium gas cell, a photodetector, and one or more condenser lenses on the optical microwave resonance part. CONSTITUTION:In a semi-coaxial cavity 1, a hollow-column rubidium gas cell 2, a photodetector 3, and condenser lenses 4, and an antenna 6 are disposed, forming a semi-coaxial resonator, which resonates with input microwaves of about 6.8GHz. For a lamp part, a condenser lens 5 is placed in a lamp house 8 so that light from a rubidium lamp 7 is converged and sent to the input light hole of the semi-coaxial cavity 1 efficiently. The light flux incident on this cavity part is made into parallel light flux by the condenser lens 4, reaches the photodetector 3, and becomes the output of the optical microwave resonance part. This semi-coaxial cavity 1 can be formed by one about 10mm in diameter since it is of a semi-coaxial shape.
