Adapter system for delay measurements in radio-frequency equipment with variable attenuation of the RF signal and adjustment of the start of a synchronising signal. By means of this system any type of delay measurements are effected, comprising a variable radio-frequency attenuator which is connected to a circuit controlling the attenuation, also having a manual switch which is connected to a bounce-suppressing circuit and this latter in turn: to a display device indicating the state of the attenuator, to a circuit of adjustment of the start of a synchronising signal, and to said circuit controlling the attenuation. The start of the synchronising signal is adjustable in order to be able to use any type of voltage-controlled attenuator independently of the delay period of the attenuator itself, and to be able to effect delay measurements of terminal stages or equipment adequately compensating for the delays introduced as far as the commencement of the stage or equipment which it is desired to measure. <IMAGE>
