PURPOSE:To reinforce effectively a necessary part, by a method wherein high-strength long fibers or long fiber bundles, whose outer circumferential surface is comprised by being covered with thermoplastic resin, are arranged through fixing within a cavity of a molding tool as a reinforcing material, the inside of the cavity is filled with a resin material fluidized through heating, which is solidified and a resin molded product is obtained. CONSTITUTION:A resin molded product 10 possesses a reinforcing rib 12 in a widthwise direction and a reinforcing fiber bundle 14 is laid under the same extending from end to end along a longitudinal direction of the same where the same does not have the rib. The resin molded product of can be manufactured as follows. In other words, a plurality of long fiber bundle 22, whose outer circumferential surface is comprised by being covered with thermoplastic resin, are arranged within either side molds 18, 20 having cavities 16 at fixed intervals by running along a longitudinal direction and in a widthwise direction and each end part is welded and fixed to the surface of the mold through partial heating. The molds 18, 20 are clamped together under this state, the inside of the cavity 16 is filled with a resin material fluidized through heating beforehand, the same is solidified after that and a fiber-reinforced resin molded product 10 is obtained. |
