PURPOSE:To facilitate a work and shorten a work period by assembling a hull from a double bottom to the height of a lower floor plate on the ground and by transferring the block on a building berth after fitting various outfittings below the lower floor plate to it. CONSTITUTION:An engine room hull of a double bottom structure 3, including at least shell plates and pillars above the double bottom to the height of a tank top 2, is assembled on the ground 10. Next, underfloor outfittings are finished on the block, which is transferred on a building berth (not shown in the figure), then it is joined with a hull block of engine room shell plates 5 between the top tank 2 and the third deck. Thereby, works can be performed in free processes and under an excellent environment without interfering with each other. |
