PURPOSE:To simplify the mechanism of a loader for a lathe through an entirely mechanical system and carry out inertia control in a suitable manner as well as to operate it with a lesser input. CONSTITUTION:A loader comprises the first arm having each of automatically operatable grips 2 at both sides and the second arm 3 supporting the first arm free of rotation at the tip of its central part and which is rotated by driving force of a motor 4. The loader also comprises a Geneva wheel 5 and a Geneva wheel 6, and rotation of the Geneva wheel 5 is transmitted to a shaft 10 via gears 7, 8 and 9 as well as to a fulcrum shaft 12 via a timing belt 11. On the other hand, rotation of the Geneva wheel 6 is transmitted to a fulcrum shaft 6 via gears 13, 14 and 15. In this way, the rate of operation in a lathe is thus improved with a suchlike simple mechanism. |
