PURPOSE:To inform the interruption of measurement due to erroneous operation to a user by arranging a transparent touch panel on a display part for displaying an electrocardiographic waveform, a usual key operation symbol and a key operation symbol for preventing erroneous operation. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 8 is turned ON to close a power supply in such a state that electrodes 12 are mounted on the surface of a living body and an IC card 14 is mounted on a main body part 4, the start of measurement and the calling of memory content are displayed on a display window 6 according to a program. When a measurement start place is pressed, the program is read through a transparent touch panel to perform the corresponding operation processing and 'during measurement' is displayed on a picture 88. The switch 8 is operated by mistake in this state to turn the power supply OFF and, when a function key 89 is operated in this state, the display is transferred to the display of 'stop' as shown by a picture 90 for the first time and this display region 91 is operated by a key to interrupt measuring operation for the first time. By this method, it can be prevented that measuring operation is interrupted by erroneous operation. |
