<p>PURPOSE:To obtain superior operability of a mouse and space saving in and the environmental resistance of a joy stick by generating the amount of travel of a cursor per unit time for an X-axis and a Y-axis in proportion to the amount of travel of a slide hole, respectively. CONSTITUTION:When the forefinger inserted to the slide hole 3 is moved, a slide hole table 12 connected to the slide hole 3 is moved horizontally as being supported with a slide hole table supporting part 13. When the slide hole table 12 is moved, a slide hole position detecting part 14 detects the amount of travel of the slide hole 3 from a neutral position for the X-axis and the Y-axis, individually, and sends the present slide hole position to a cursor travel pulse generating part 15. The cursor travel pulse generating part 15 generates a cursor travel pulse with a constant frequency per unit time having meaning to identify plus and minus directions in proportion to relative difference between the present slide hole position and the neutral position at every X-axis and Y-axis by slide hole position information sent from the slide hole position detecting part 14.</p> |
