In the front face of 19-inch electronic cabinets, each slide 10 necessarily allows a height equal to an integer number of units u of about 44 mm. In order to reserve one of these slides for current inlets, the ordinary packages would lead to mobilising two units u. The slide of the invention makes do with one unit u. It consists of a U-shaped member 1 into which easily exchangeable compact assemblies 4 are fitted one beside the other, each assembly 4 constituting an inlet whose current-conducting portions plug into those of its neighbour. <IMAGE>
