The invention concerns a standardisation method for the construction of individual dwellings permitting a great many finished products. It consists of a central volume 1 which contains the actual dwelling, enclosed by a thin outer wall and accompanying architectural elements 3 arranged round the periphery of the central volume. The accompanying architectural elements are attached to the central volume by way of a connection structure consisting of screen facade elements 2 which form, together with the support structure of the central volume, built-up columns containing the mechanical and electrical fixtures transferred to the outside of the central volume. The method according to the invention is intended in particular for the construction of individual dwellings which are detached or in terraces, either in the public sector or for group constructions. <IMAGE>
