PURPOSE:To perform variegated image expression in a complicated color change pattern like gradation by providing a memory storing the color change pattern of an image on the basis of the relational expression of a printing position and a printing color and an operation means for operating the printing color at each printing position from said relational expression to give the same to an image recording means. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate area 51, a color area 52, a shape data area 53 and a color change pattern area 54 are provided to an RAM 5 corresponding to the image data inputted from a host computer 1. The data of the color change pattern inputted from the host computer 1 is stored in the color change pattern area 54. The data of the color change pattern is one showing a color change pattern such as gradation on the basis of the relational expression of a printing position and a printing color, and the brightness, hue and saturation at each printing position are displayed as the function of said printing position. This data is preliminarily inputted to the soft ware applied to the host computer 1 or may be sent by operating the operating part on the side of the computer 1 when image, data is sent from the host computer 1. |
