PURPOSE:To make processing efficient by driving another application and instantaneously releasing a display picture when a printer buffer is filled with data, and while effectively utilizing an idle time, printing out the hard copy of a picture. CONSTITUTION:A computer 21 transfers a picture image to the 2nd picture at the time of starting hard copy processing and instantaneously releases a display picture. On the other hand, the computer 21 always monitors a BUSY signal for a printer 22, and when the BUSY signal is off, continuously outputs the picture image transferred to the 2nd picture to the printer 22. When the BUSY signal is turned on, the computer 21 temporarily suspends the hard copy processing and sets up another application to a driven state to effectively utilize an idle time. Then, the computer 21 restarts the hard copy processing and outputs the picture image of a 2nd picture to the printer 22. Thus, the computer 21 can be made efficient. |
