OPTICAL CARD CARRYING AND PROTECTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To keep the stability and the reliability of an optical card for a long time by storing it in a case provided with a freely opening and closing shutter. CONSTITUTION:A recessed part is provided in the center part of a card case 28 and an optical card 20 is stored there. The case 28 is freely openably and closably provided with shutter 29 provided with a shutter guide 31 which can be freely moved along a slot 32 and is restored by a spring 33. Since the card 20 is stored in the case 28, the card 20 is protected by the shutter 29 and the occurrence of flaws on the surface of the card 20 and sticking of dust to the surface are prevented when recording and reproducing are not performed; and thus, the stability and the reliability of the optical card are kept for a long time.
