PURPOSE:To improve flowability, cleanability, electrostatic charge stability, and durability by mixing and dispersing fine silica powder of the specific weight ratio to fine acrylic polymer powder with and into a toner mixture added with a specific ratio of the fine acrylic polymer powder. CONSTITUTION:After the fine acrylic polymer powder is mixed with the toner particles so as to attain 0.05 to 0.15pts.wt. concn. per 100pts.wt. toner particles, the fine silica powder is added and mixed to and with this mixture at 1:1 to 1:5 of the weight of the fine acrylic powder. The dispersion structure of the fine acrylic powder is maintained constant over a long period of time and the flowability of the toner compsn. is improved if the silica is added to the toner particles in such a manner. In addition, the electrostatic charge stability is maintained well over a long period of time and the deterioration in characteristics is prevented even under high humidity.
