PURPOSE:To improve radiation of heat and to improve abrasion resistance and fading resistance by using a surface improving gas phase growth carbon fiber as the reinforcing material of a clutch facing. CONSTITUTION:In clutch facing formed by the use of a reinforcing material, a friction adjusting material and an organic coupling material, a surface improving gas phase growth carbon fiber is used as the reinforcing material within a range of 20 to 60% by weight. Thus, the durability and the thermal conductivity of the clutch facing are improved and the clutch facing good in abrasion resistance and fading resistance is obtained. |
