A package boiler comprises a shell 2 enclosing a combustion chamber 7 which is confined by a furnace bed 3 and a chamber wall 1, the chamber wall confining with the shell wall a water chamber which surrounds the combustion chamber, and a firing port means 4 provided in the chamber wall adjacent to the furnace bed. The chamber wall has a top wall 12 which is provided with upper tube holes 12A and a vertical curved wall part whose lower portion 11 is provided with lower tube holes 11A. A plurality of water tubes are mounted on the chamber wall by means of the upper and lower tube holes, the tubes being spaced apart from but intersecting with each other adjacent to the top wall part and extending divergently from the top wall part to the lower portion. A stack 13 communicates with the combustion chamber and extends out from the shell wall. <IMAGE>
